App Review rejection with a vague reason

A practical fix and a copyable AI coding prompt. Replace bracketed placeholders with your project details.

1. Check the problem

Open the rejection in Resolution Center and click reply, not resubmit. Ask for the guideline number (like 4.0 or 5.1.1) and the exact screen flagged, reviewers answer direct questions. Resubmitting blind often lands with the same reviewer.

2. Use the prompt

Apple rejected my app with this vague reason: [paste rejection]. Draft a polite Resolution Center reply that asks for the specific guideline number and the exact screen they're flagging, and asks what change would resolve it. Keep it short and direct so a reviewer will actually answer.

3. Verify the fix

Review the proposed diff, run the relevant checks and exercise the original failing flow before merging.
