Instagram grows followers but not installs

A practical fix and a copyable AI coding prompt. Replace bracketed placeholders with your project details.

1. Check the problem

Instagram is a brand channel for indie apps, not an install channel, it won't drive installs without paid promotion. If installs are the goal, redirect that time to Reddit or App Store SEO instead.

2. Use the prompt

Instagram grows my followers but not installs for [app]. Help me decide honestly: keep it as a brand channel, or redirect that time to Reddit, Show HN, or App Store SEO for actual installs? Give me a clear call and a reallocation plan for the next month.

3. Verify the fix

Review the proposed diff, run the relevant checks and exercise the original failing flow before merging.
